What happens when you get a positive test result for air or water quality?
In the worst-case scenario operations are shut down until cleaning and disinfection are complete, and you will need a partner like Airmec to find the root cause of your problems and recommend and execute an effective remediation plan.
Often, however, that first ‘out of specification’ test result is a red flag. You may be able to continue operations, but you will need to heed the warning and reassess your infrastructure and processes to nip problems in the bud. This can, of course be especially challenging in older buildings, an area where Airmec has extensive expertise.
Remediation is of course, easier when there is an up to date risk assessment in place, and any recommendations resulting from it have been implemented. Having a current risk assessment is often mandatory – is yours up to date?
