We are looking for a Remedial Works Manager to take ownership of our fire safety remedial projects, ensuring top-quality Fire Damper Replacements. You’ll manage site teams, oversee compliance, and lead the charge in maintaining our high standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Take full control of site management and service delivery for our Fire Damper Remedial Projects.
• Ensure all works meet BS 9999, BESA DW145 Regulations.
• Lead and manage teams of technicians & subcontractors, driving efficiency and quality.
• Support Mechanical Technicians—including HR responsibilities.
• Conduct site inspections, competency checks, and audits to ensure compliance.
• Work with internal teams & clients to resolve project challenges.
• Oversee risk assessments, method statements, and project documentation.
• Champion health & safety across all projects.
What We’re Looking For:
• Excellent leadership, project management, and organisational skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and relevant software.
• Pro-activeness.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Experience with fire damper testing & replacements (desirable)
• IOSH (desirable).
• SSSTS.
• UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to obtain DBS and security clearance.
• Experience working in prisons or high-security sites (desirable).
• Willingness to travel, stay overnight, and visit our Bristol Head Office (expenses covered).
