Sales Support Administrator

We are looking for an ambitious Sales Support Administrator who will play a key role in customer service delivery, working with the sales and business development teams.

You will support the Business Account Managers, including external consultants, covering everything from answering telephone calls and emails to raising and checking quotations and processing orders.

You will support the business as a whole by delivering great customer service from enquiry through quotation and order receipt while building strong relationships with internal and externals teams, customers and suppliers.

  • Monday – Friday 08:15 – 16:45 (16:30 finish on Fridays).
Responsibilities of your role will include:
  • Serving as the first point of contact for both internal and external customers, ensuring professional and effective communication.
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers to facilitate smooth and timely quotation and order processes.
  • Preparing, pricing, reviewing and validateing sales quotations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Processing and managing sales orders efficiently.
  • Maintaining and monitoring renewal schedules and quotation pipeline to support ongoing customer needs.
  • Reviewing and qualifying incoming customer enquiries, escalating to Account Managers where appropriate.
  • Updating and maintaining CRM databases and other internal systems to ensure data integrity.
  • Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business objectives.
  • Fostering strong relationships across internal departments to ensure collaborative workflow.
  • Building, supporting and managinbg supplier and subcontractor relationships for effective service delivery.
  • Working to tight timescales and deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Supporting the business with ad-hoc administrative or operational tasks as required.
About you:
  • Prior experience of working with customers in a similar role would be beneficial.
  • Strong numeracy and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues independently.
  • High level of attention to detail, ensuring processes are completed accurately and efficiently the first time.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook), with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
  • Well-organised with the ability to manage a busy workload, balance multiple priorities, and meet deadlines both independently and within a team environment.
  • Prior experience in a customer-focused or similar administrative role is highly desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence preferrable for occasional travel to client sites.
