Air and water services are important to keep schools safe

  • As part of our ventilation hygiene services, we regularly inspect and clean extract systems within commercial kitchens. We also have trained, competent surveyors able to examine and test any local exhaust ventilation (LEV) systems that are installed in workshops or laboratories.

We can offer your facilities management team the following services:

    • Ventilation system hygiene surveys and risk assessments
    • Fire damper inspection and testing
    • Fire damper replacement and remedial works
    • Air Handling Unit (AHU) maintenance
    • Ventilation duct cleaning
    • Kitchen extract monitoring and cleaning
    • Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) examination and testing

Where indoor air needs to be assessed for comfort or for health and safety reasons one of our surveyors can conduct an Indoor Air Quality survey. We can also outline how to protect staff and student well-being from exposure to dust, fumes, or noise by undertaking an Occupational Hygiene Assessment.

    • Advising on improving access for cleaning and inspection
    • Detailed reporting

Our dedicated remedial team can also make recommendations on ways to modify ductwork and on the installation of access doors so that any fire dampers that have not previously been tested can be reached, and future inspections can be conducted more efficiently and cost-effectively.
