Airmec Essential Services is one of the UK’s longest established specialist air hygiene and water

High Security establishments, Healthcare, Local Government, Education and much more.
With our Head Office based in Bristol, we have specialist teams of technicians across the UK.
You will be working on site at a variety of locations throughout England, so you will be happy to
travel and stay away.
We predominantly work on high security sites so successful candidates will need security vetting,
from baseline enhanced DBS check to high level security clearance.
The role requires experience in the installation of Heating & Ventilating Ductwork and
similar work.
Key tasks include:
• Replacement of fire dampers including ductwork modification as required.
• Ducting and fire damper installation/modifications
• Testing and inspection of Fire Dampers
• Air Handling Unit Maintenance and pre-planned maintenance
• Service and repairs of Air Handling Units, HVAC heating and ventilation services plant and
associated equipment
• Site surveys and problem solving
• Submittal of all reports, survey forms, job sheets.
Working towards qualifications in:
• Experience of ventilation duct installation
• NVQ level 3 Diploma in Heating & Ventilation Ductwork installation
